繼續來吃洛陽街牛肉麵,雖然這邊大部分的店都是24小時營業,但還是有幾家每天是有上下班的。我已經吃過富宏、建宏、跟小吳,這天來到洛陽街比之前晚,剛好隴成川味牛肉麵已經開始營業,那就來這家試試。
I'm continuing my journey of eating beef noodles on Luoyang Street. Although most of the shops here are open 24 hours a day, there are still a few that operate with regular hours. I have already tried Fuhong, Jianhong, and Xiaowu. I arrived at Luoyang Street later than before that day, and Longcheng Sichuan Flavor Beef Noodles had just opened, so I decided to try this one.
隴成川味牛肉麵在正洛陽街牛肉麵這一排最後一間,選這家純粹只是隨機為了吃,來到現場之前我甚至不知道有這麼一家。平日一大清早來吃早餐,基本上整排店裡都沒啥客人,隴成甚至只有我一個。
Longcheng Sichuan Flavor Beef Noodles is the last shop in the main line of beef noodle places on Luoyang Street. I chose this place purely by chance just to have a meal; I didn't even know this shop existed before I arrived. I came for breakfast early on a weekday morning, and essentially, none of the shops in this row had many customers; Longcheng, in fact, only had me.
價目表貼在煮麵攤子上,按照慣例內容品項跟價格,基本上跟別家都一模一樣。說真的,全部均一價是我最佩服洛陽街牛肉麵商家們的地方。大家沒有惡意在價格上就爭,大家一起把平價牛肉麵這塊餅做大,讓消費者隨時想吃第一個就會想到這邊。
The price list is posted on the noodle-cooking stall, and the menu items and prices are virtually identical to those of the other shops, as is the custom here. Honestly, the uniform pricing across all shops is what I admire most about the beef noodle vendors on Luoyang Street. Instead of engaging in a vicious price war, they collectively grow the market for affordable beef noodles, making this the first place consumers think of whenever they want to eat it.
這是桌上會出現的基本配備,一大碗公的酸菜跟牛油,還有自製的辣椒油,光看就覺得過癮。而且經過我的嚐試後發現,這家店的酸菜特別好吃。
This is the basic setup you will find on the table: a large bowl of pickled mustard greens (suancai), beef tallow, and homemade chili oil. Just looking at it is satisfying. And after tasting it, I found that the pickled mustard greens at this shop are especially delicious.
這是牛肉麵小碗,因為去用餐的時候全台灣青蔥還是天價,所以我不確定正常的版本是不是有加蔥花?反正我去吃的時候,就是像這樣只有肉、湯跟麵,沒有任何綠色蔬菜在裡面。
This is the small bowl of beef noodles. Because green onions were still ridiculously expensive throughout Taiwan when I went to eat, I am not sure if the regular version includes chopped green onions. Anyway, when I ate it, it was just like this: only meat, soup, and noodles, with no green vegetables whatsoever.
牛肉的切法是肉片,跟其他家多以肉塊呈現很不一樣。店家選用是帶筋的牛腱子肉,肉量大概八到九片左右,我覺得量算不少。店名有打川味牛肉麵,他們家的牛肉湯底喝起來就是很典型川味的鹹香,記得要多加一點桌上的牛油,我認為是這區湯最好喝的一家。
The beef is sliced, which is quite different from the chunks used by most other shops. The owner uses beef shank with sinew, and the portion size is generous with about eight to nine slices of meat. The shop's name includes "Sichuan Flavor Beef Noodles," and their beef broth has a very typical Sichuan-style savory and salty taste. Remember to add a bit of the beef tallow from the table—I think this shop has the best-tasting broth in the area.
牛肉雖然薄,不過整個火候燒得還不錯,吃起來口感很軟嫩。八到九片的肉量老實說像我這種一般食量,理論上一定夠吃。
Although the beef is thin, it was cooked quite well, offering a very tender texture. Frankly, eight to nine slices of meat should theoretically be enough for someone with an average appetite like mine.
雖然這家店湯好喝、肉好吃,甚至連酸菜都很棒,不過最後這個麵條,就是這家店的短板。麵體看起來就像一般的陽春麵,吃起來也不像其他店家的麵條有勁道,是美中不足之處!不過他們家的湯,真的事很道地的川味,應該也是這一區裡面最好喝的!
Although this shop has delicious soup, tasty meat, and even great pickled mustard greens, the noodles are ultimately this shop's weakness. The noodles look like typical plain noodles (yangchun mian) and do not have the same chewiness as the noodles at other shops, which is the only flaw. However, their soup is genuinely authentic Sichuan flavor and is likely the best-tasting in this area!
