聽住清水的人說,他們那邊有一家臭豆腐店如果內用臭豆腐,老闆還會送麵線、甜湯、甚至水果等等吃到飽!!今天中午大家吃完午餐閒閒沒事,決定擇期不如撞期,走吧,我們到清水吃豆腐去!!!

According to locals in Qingshui, there is a stinky tofu shop where if you dine in, the owner provides free all-you-can-eat vermicelli, sweet soup, and even fruit! Since we were free after lunch today, we decided to head over to Qingshui and try it out!
意外的轉折:與臭豆腐擦身而過
今天天氣陰天有雨,海線地區風還很大,真的超冷。好不容易循著地址來到這家叫做來來臭豆腐的店門口,竟然發生杯具.... 今日休息一天!!!!!!!!!!!
天吶,昨天不休、明天不休,只休今天,不是分明針對我們來的嗎?真的讓人心裡感覺藍瘦、香菇......當然來到清水,不吃點東西怎可以空手而歸?剛好旁邊還有一家天天限量版的肉圓,看時間剛好剛開始營業,看時間還早應該還沒賣完,趕快衝!

The weather today was cloudy and rainy, and the wind in the coastal area was very strong—it was freezing. We finally found the address for "Lai Lai Stinky Tofu," only to find a tragedy... Closed Today!
Of all days, they chose today to close! It felt like a personal attack. I felt so "blue and thin" (slang for sad). However, we couldn't leave Qingshui empty-handed. Luckily, there's a daily limited-edition Ba-Wan (meatball) shop nearby. It just opened, so we rushed over before they sold out!
限量版傳奇:白頭蔡板凳肉圓
這家店叫做白頭蔡肉圓,又有人稱他們叫做板凳肉圓,店本身是沒有店名的。店址就位於中山路邊清水高中對面,營業時間一到,遠遠的就可以看到騎樓下,圍滿了一群坐板凳的人。

This shop is called "Bai Tou Cai Ba-Wan," also known as "Stool Ba-Wan," though the shop itself has no official name. Located on Zhongshan Road opposite Qingshui High School, as soon as it opens, you can see a crowd of people sitting on stools under the arcade from afar.

Word has it that once this bucket of Ba-Wan is gone, they close for the day. So, the closing time is just for reference.
口感實測:筍丁赤肉與硬派皮
肉圓(60元/2顆)。點餐時店家會問你要不要辣,基本上他家的辣椒有辣,所以不吃太辣的人記得交代放少一點。

Ba-Wan (60 NTD for 2 pieces). They will ask if you want chili; their sauce is quite spicy, so if you can't handle much heat, ask for just a little.
這肉圓其實個頭不大,一顆30元說真的有比較貴一點。肉圓裡面包著筍丁跟赤肉片,沒有一般肉圓內餡的五香味,口味算是比較清爽。而肉圓皮厚,口感偏硬,如果要說美味,我覺得見仁見智,反正哥吃的是稀有限量,哇哈哈!

These are not very big, so at 30 NTD each, they are a bit pricey. The filling contains diced bamboo shoots and lean pork slices. Unlike typical Ba-Wan, it lacks the heavy five-spice flavor, offering a cleaner taste instead. The skin is thick and firm. Whether it's "delicious" is subjective, but hey, I'm eating "limited edition" history here! Haha!
順遊景點:華得來飲料與清水公學校
吃完肉圓想喝飲料,旁邊不遠處有家華得來還不錯。重點是,今天幫我們服務的妹紙口條很好,推薦我們全部買單啊~~~ 原來他們的粉圓是自家製作,不錯喔!

If you want a drink after the Ba-Wan, "What A Life" nearby is pretty good. The service was excellent, and we ended up buying everything they recommended! They even make their own pearls (boba) in-house!
這附近還有許多日治時代留下的老建築,像是清水公學校(現為清水國小)的日式宿舍群。這些木造建築修復得很漂亮,目前似乎規劃成教室使用。

There are many old buildings from the Japanese colonial era nearby, such as the Japanese-style dormitory clusters of Qingshui Public School (now Qingshui Elementary School). These wooden buildings have been beautifully restored and appear to be used as classrooms now.

[雲林小吃/鴨肉][虎尾632]【2017台灣燈會】老王當歸鴨-一天只賣4小時,聽說在地人吃當歸鴨都會來這家~(雲林美食 雲林旅遊 在地人也愛吃)
雲林吃當歸鴨的風氣好像很盛,到了虎尾街上一看,真的不小心就會遇到一家。這間「老王當歸鴨麵線」,是我們買包子的時候老闆娘推薦的。地點很巧,就在之前冰箱介紹過的長興爌肉飯同一條街上。

It seems that eating angelica duck is quite a popular trend in Yunlin. Strolling down the streets of Huwei, you can easily bump into a shop selling it. This "Lao Wang Angelica Duck Vermicelli" was recommended to us by the lady boss when we were buying steamed buns. Coincidentally, it’s located on the same street as Changxing Braised Pork Rice, which I introduced before.

傍晚限定:一天只賣四小時的人氣老店
約莫下午四點半左右就有得吃,雖然時間還早,不過現場早就已經擠滿來外帶的客人,內用區也不少桌有人吃。以前聽說是一家無名小店,後來可能為了方便客人紀錄,所以現在有了店名叫「老王」。
其實老王本人滿客氣的,一邊煮麵你問他問題都會親切地回答。我那天問他營業時間到何時?他說因為小孩子隔天都要上班,所以差不多到晚上 8 點半左右就收攤了。從 16:30 開始到晚上 8:30 打烊,一天才賣四個鐘頭,真可謂限時版經典在地美食呀!

The shop opens around 4:30 PM. Even though it's still early, the place is already packed with takeout customers, and many dine-in tables are occupied. I heard it used to be a nameless stall, but perhaps to make it easier for customers to remember, it's now officially named Lao Wang.
Lao Wang himself is very polite, answering questions warmly while cooking noodles. I asked him about the closing time. He said that because his kids have to work the next day, they pack up around 8:30 PM. Operating from 4:30 PM to 8:30 PM means they only sell for four hours a day—a truly limited-edition classic local food!
經典當歸鴨與意想不到的巨無霸蚵仔煎
店裡用的鹽水鴨,看來應該是採用太空鴨,所以沒脖子沒翅。而鴨腿的部分,我想應該早就已經被客人買光了吧?店裡的麵線採用的依然是雞絲麵,好像虎尾這邊都這樣。這一大口當歸湯頭,就是老店經典風味的所在,天氣有點微涼,這時來碗熱騰騰的當歸鴨,真的是一大享受。

The salted duck used here seems to be pre-processed whole ducks, so there are no necks or wings. As for the duck legs, I suppose they were sold out early. The vermicelli here is actually chicken wire noodles, which seems to be the norm in Huwei. A big gulp of this angelica broth reveals the classic flavor of this old shop. The weather was a bit chilly, so a steaming bowl of angelica duck was truly a great enjoyment.
一旁的煎檯由兒子負責,上面製作的就是店裡的招牌蚵仔煎。說真的,本來是沒打算吃蚵仔煎的,不過他們家的蚵仔煎真的好大一塊,而且一份才 50 元,不吃好像對不起虎尾... 所以就「順便」點了!
佛心銅板價:滿滿一桌的鴨肉切盤與米血
一樣是劃單點菜,內用的話如果攤子後面坐滿了,對面海產店隔壁還另外有設用餐區。因為剛剛已經吃過一輪了,所以點餐時還算節制,但也叫了一桌滿滿。
米血 (20元) 份量比王家稍多,但是起價也比較貴。米血口感一樣相當柔軟,只是切法不同。鴨肉切盤 (50元/份),真的沒有錯,老王的切鴨肉一盤只要 50 元!老王家鴨肉切法跟人家不太一樣,是切成塊狀的。鴨肉口感其實跟王家不分上下,不過性價比可是遠遠超過王家。

You order by filling out a form. If the seats behind the stall are full, there's another dining area next to the seafood restaurant opposite. Since we had already eaten a round earlier, we restrained ourselves when ordering, but it still filled the table.
Blood pudding (20 NTD) is slightly larger than Wang's. It's equally soft, just cut differently. Sliced duck (50 NTD/portion). Yes, you read it right, a plate of sliced duck here is only 50 NTD! Lao Wang's cutting method is unique; it's chopped into chunks. The texture of the duck is on par with Wang's, but the cost-performance ratio is much higher here.
濃郁湯頭勝出:清麵線與物超所值的享受
清麵線 (20元),一樣採用的是雞絲麵,麵的味道還是相當的重。不過老王的當歸湯頭,比王家的來得濃郁,所以麵線部分老王勝出。
蚵仔煎 (50元),沒有錯,你看到這一大盤蚵仔煎真的只要 50 元。料多味美,蚵仔也很大顆又新鮮。基本上,拿來當正餐吃再配個湯,我想也能飽八分。

Plain vermicelli (20 NTD) also uses chicken wire noodles. However, Lao Wang's angelica broth is richer than Wang's, making their vermicelli the winner. Oyster omelet (50 NTD). That's right, this huge plate of oyster omelet is really just 50 NTD. It's flavorful and packed with large, fresh oysters. Having this as a main meal with a soup would probably fill you up nicely.
全部這樣吃完才 140 元,然後在虎尾吃兩家當歸鴨,三個人只花了 310 元,怎麼虎尾的物價有辦法這麼歡樂啊?聽雲林在地朋友說,虎尾旁邊的土庫,好吃的小吃還有很多。有空再繼續衝雲林,帶回更多好料跟大家分享囉!

[日本景點][東京台東] 夜訪淺草寺,晚上的雷門也很漂亮喔~(日本旅遊 2016來去東京入花叢)
一般我們到東京旅遊,如果要到淺草這邊來玩,大部分的人應該都會選
擇白天的時候前往。因為這次冰箱到日本,有兩個在地的日本朋友帶路,
他們告訴我晚上淺草寺的景色,別有一番風情,一定要帶我去感受一下
有別於白天喧鬧的優閒。

【台中火鍋/沙茶爐】[中區400] 台灣陳沙茶火鍋-隱藏在電子街裡的老牌沙茶爐!(台中美食 台中旅遊 台中車站美食)
日前找到一家店,聽說是冰箱這輩子第一次吃牛肉飯的地方,叫做朝代
咖啡廳。記得小時候市區還很熱鬧,冰箱媽都會帶我來自由路這邊逛百
貨,累了就會到附近的咖啡廳吃飯休息。那一家朝代咖啡廳有供應簡餐,
幾年前有次走路經過發現還開著,一直想找機會去懷念一下。好不容易
逮到機會跟我龜秘約好要去了,後來才發現人家早在兩年前吹了熄燈號。
也就是說,這個讓我可以懷念冰箱媽的機會從此成絕響,天吶~~~
不過飯還是要吃啊,既然天氣有點冷冷,那就到電子街去吃個火鍋吧!
