再開始繼續寫接下去的陸上遊記之前,先跟大家介紹一下我們兩個上陸後的交通方式-租車自助旅遊!! 雖然冰箱本身早就有在國外開車的經驗(米國跟菲律賓),不過這次到日本要開左右完全顛倒的右駕車,說不緊張,那真的是騙人的!!!
決定租車旅行,其實是在出發前三天才臨時決定。雖然船上有一些上岸的行程可以參加,但是根據曾經搭過一樣航線的朋友說到岸上行程很虛,價格又很貴,強烈建議不要參加....
Before writing about the shore excursions, let me introduce our mode of transportation on land: renting a car for a self-drive tour! Although I had experience driving abroad (USA and Philippines), I was nervous about driving a right-hand drive car in Japan for the first time. We decided to rent a car just three days before departure because friends warned us that the ship's shore excursions were expensive and not worth it.

一人餐桌這邊買唷
既然要自助旅行,那就得上"背包客棧"爬爬文,做做功課。看裡面很多人上岸後,都租車來代步。看來看去,冰箱最後是選擇 OTS沖繩租車。
OTS預約租車其實相當方便,只要在網路上完成預約手續,OTS就會寄一封確認MAIL到指定信箱。到目的地時,OTS就會派出專人專車到碼頭或機場接送喔。
日本跟台灣駕照是互相承認的,想在日本開車,只要在出國前到各地監理所(站)花100塊(註:現已改為200元)申請駕照日文譯本,連同台灣駕照正本一起帶到日本即可使用。注意,日本境內國際駕照並不適用唷。其實到監理所申請這日文譯本速度還滿快的,冰箱花不到十分鐘就拿到手囉。
I chose OTS Rent-a-Car after researching on backpacker forums. Booking online was easy, and they provide pick-up service at the port. To drive in Japan, Taiwanese drivers need to apply for a Japanese translation of their driver's license at the DMV in Taiwan (cost: 100 TWD, now 200 TWD). Bring both the original license and the translation. International Driving Permits are NOT valid in Japan.
按照行程表,船在台灣時間5/4早上7點會靠岸。當船靠岸的時候,日本海關當局會派專人上船幫大家辦理入關手續。通關地點在五樓船頭的星辰酒廊,建議早早前往排隊。通關時是憑每個人自己的那張登船卡,經過面試及按指紋兩樣手續之後,海關人員會發給一張"上陸許可證",之後就憑這張在日本國境內合法活動囉。
結果我們一出閘口才發現,整艘船我們是第一個下船的旅客,連在船邊準備歡迎大家的鼓號樂隊都還沒準備好,哈哈哈哈! 一下船,當然要給他來張觀光客的照片囉...
Japanese customs officers boarded the ship to handle immigration. We queued early at the Stardust Lounge. After fingerprinting and an interview, we received a "Landing Permit." We were actually the first passengers to disembark, even before the welcome band was ready! Of course, we took some tourist photos with the massive ship.
過沒多久,OTS的小巴就出現在我們面前,前往那霸營業所辦理手續。由於這次是日本"黃金週",我想租的小車(SK等級)被租光了。不過很LUCKY的是,服務員張小姐幫我們免費升等到S等級1000CC的"大車",也就是台灣的馬2 (Mazda 2)。
這台小銀,車號"沖繩505 15-18"就是冰箱在日本,人生裡開的第一部右駕車,屌吧!
那霸還車的時候,冰箱決定隔天在石垣島也要租車玩。請好心的張小姐幫忙,結果她又幫我以SK等級的價錢預約到S級的車輛,這次到沖繩真的遇到貴人呀....
The OTS shuttle took us to their office. Since it was Golden Week, the small car (SK class) I booked was unavailable. Luckily, the staff upgraded us to an S class (Mazda 2) for free! This silver car was my first right-hand drive experience. I also asked the staff to help book a car for Ishigaki Island the next day, and she got me another upgrade deal!
分不清東南西北怎麼辦? 放心,日本的租賃車每一台車上都有導航系統。只要輸入電話號碼或MapCode,就可輕易導航到目的地。不過要特別注意的是,設定導航時必須**「拉上手煞車」**,否則機器會認為車輛行進中而拒絕操作。
接下來就是開車囉...我承認剛開始開真的很緊張,尤其是方向燈跟雨刷撥桿完全相反。一上路,常常看到一台車沒下雨但是雨刷不停擺...因為要打方向燈打成雨刷辣....囧rz。
不過熟能生巧,隔天在石垣島,冰箱開車就已經回復應有的水準,果然開車對我來說是天賦!!(神氣樣)
All rental cars come with GPS. You can navigate by entering phone numbers or MapCodes. Note: You must pull the handbrake to operate the GPS! Driving on the right side was nerve-wracking at first. I kept turning on the wipers instead of the turn signal because the controls are swapped! But I got used to it quickly, and by the second day in Ishigaki, I was driving like a pro.
比較大的觀光景點通常都有免費停車場,但進了市區就要找收費停車場。我在國際通巷子裡找到這種無人停車場。
車子停妥後,三分鐘後地上的障礙物會升起卡住底盤。一小時300日幣的停車費真是貴森森。領車時,按下停車格編號並繳費,障礙物就會下降,此時就可以把車開走囉。
Tourist spots usually have free parking, but in the city, you need paid lots. I used an unmanned parking lot in Kokusai Street. After parking, a flap rises from the ground to lock the car. It cost 300 JPY per hour. To leave, you pay at the machine, and the flap lowers.
還車前要把油箱加滿。還車手續很簡單,出示加油收據並檢查車輛外觀即可。
後記: 郵輪岸上觀光行程動輒2500元以上,兩人就要五千。相較之下,租車自駕平均連油資都花不到台幣1500元,只要克服心理障礙,真的經濟又寫意。在沖繩開車大家都很守規矩,服務人員也很親切,是非常棒的體驗。
Before returning the car, you must fill up the tank. The return process is simple: show the gas receipt and check the car for damages. Self-driving is much cheaper than the ship's excursions (less than 1,500 TWD vs. 5,000+ TWD for two people). Drivers in Okinawa are polite and follow the rules, making it a pleasant experience.

不好意思,這張雖然是我在船上吃的消夜,但是這個是要自費的XD。寫到這一篇,這趟航程船上餐飲部分的介紹就即將告一段落了。搭過麗星郵輪的應該都很清楚,在船上的日子,除了吃,就是吃,哈哈! 雖然一天三餐正常,但是到消夜時間也是閒到想說去吃吃看吧。
Sorry, although this photo shows a supper I had on the ship, this one actually cost extra! XD With this post, my introduction to the food on this cruise trip is coming to an end. Anyone who has been on Star Cruises knows that life on board is basically eat, eat, and eat! Haha! Even though we had three regular meals a day, we figured we might as well check out the late-night supper since we had free time.

一人餐桌這邊買唷
消夜時間是晚上十一點半到十二點半在九樓的航海家自助餐。船方每天會準備幾樣現炒菜色,也有一些簡單的沙拉、水果跟粥品讓客人自行取用。船上免費消夜我們去吃了兩次,菜色大同小異,所以第二次冰箱就沒有拍了,只有第一次的照片讓大家參考參考。
大致上的菜色就是這樣,冰箱幾乎能吃的都拿了,大家參考參考! 第二次的消夜粥品有比較多樣,除了清粥之外還多了雞蓉粥跟魚片粥。旁邊的醬菜類感覺好像是大陸製品,吃起來大陸味很重XD。圖中的圓型餐包是這次在船上吃到最好吃的餐包,外皮稍硬的口感,抹上奶油一起吃可是越嚼越香喔.....
說也奇怪,本來擔心在船上這樣吃吃吃了五天,回家量體重一定超有罪惡感。結果不知道是不是因為出去玩的時候有走路走比較多? 回家體重一量還反而瘦了一點,哈哈哈哈! 罪惡感,退散!!!
Free supper is served from 11:30 PM to 12:30 AM at the Mariner's Buffet on the 9th floor. They prepare a few stir-fried dishes, simple salads, fruits, and congee daily. We went twice. The round bun in the photo was the best bread I had on the trip—slightly hard crust, getting tastier with every chew when buttered. Surprisingly, despite eating constantly for 5 days, I actually lost weight after the trip! Maybe because of all the walking?
接下來,就來看看我們此行在船上唯一付費的餐點。會來吃這餐付費的消夜,是因為第一天岸上行程結束回到船上,用完了晚餐之後,我們夫妻倆就陣亡在房間的床上了。大家可能有所不知,在累了一天之後,躺到床上,搖呀搖的,真的超級給他舒服的辣。到底有多舒服? 舒服到我們前一天本來買好要看SHOW的票(一張650元)都因為我們醒來時已經過了表演時間而白白讓他賺了1300元.....
睡起來的時候,消夜時間也已經錯過了,此時想到24小時營業的藍點咖啡屋應該有東西可以吃,二話不說就給他上樓去看看。我們到的時候已經將近兩點,想當然爾,咖啡廳是沒半個客人的。
Next up is the only paid meal we had on the ship. We ended up here because we were exhausted after the first shore excursion and fell asleep in our cabin right after dinner. The gentle rocking of the ship was so comfortable that we slept through a show we had paid for! By the time we woke up, the free supper time had passed. So, we headed to the 24-hour Blue Point Coffee House. It was almost 2 AM, and naturally, we were the only customers.
翻了翻MENU,大致上來說每份餐點都落在台幣200~350元之譜。雖然在價位上有點小貴,不過想想現在是在船上,說起來也還好,常常去錢櫃唱歌,裡面的餐點也差不多都是這價位,不是嗎? 心理建設完畢,就放心的給他點下去囉,哈哈哈!
青菜一定要吃,那就來份蠔油西蘭花,至少是打安全牌。這一盤吃下來大概在台幣200元左右,當時正航行在日本境內的海上,想到這樣心裡就直嘀咕-俗辣!!!!!
這是我點的馬來式海鮮炒飯,雖然賣相不是頂優,不過口味還算不錯也。說起來,這是我吃過用泰國米炒出來最好吃的炒飯說。上菜時炒飯上面頂了顆太陽蛋,邊菜附有蝦餅跟沙嗲烤肉串,也算豐富! 這樣一份台幣大概在280元左右,如果記得沒錯的話?
接下來這道海南雞飯就道地囉,本來覺得很神奇,後來想到麗星郵輪的老闆好像是馬來西亞人,那就沒啥好奇怪了....雞肉軟嫩、雞皮彈牙,用雞湯煮出來的飯也很到位,再配上一大口雞湯,在這時刻能吃到這個真是好幸福呀,哈哈! 這份多少錢? 記得吃下來好像差不多在台幣350左右.....雖然小貴,不過真的道地好吃,大推唷!
以上,就是這次旅行我們在船上吃的所有餐點。接下來,睽違26年的日本....我...來.....辣!!!!!!!
The menu prices ranged from 200 to 350 TWD. A bit pricey, but acceptable for being on a ship (similar to KTV prices). We ordered Broccoli with Oyster Sauce (safe choice, ~200 TWD), Malay Seafood Fried Rice (~280 TWD), and Hainanese Chicken Rice (~350 TWD). The fried rice came with a sunny-side-up egg, prawn crackers, and satay skewers—tasty! The Hainanese Chicken Rice was authentic and delicious, with tender chicken and flavorful rice cooked in chicken broth. Since the owner of Star Cruises is Malaysian, it makes sense the food is authentic. Highly recommended!

進了電梯,發現這船上的電梯跟我們一般搭的不太一樣。整體來說,是屬於比較小型的一種,畢竟這艘船已經20多歲了,所以感覺有一點復古,上個世紀的產物,呵...
我們的艙房位於七樓的7215,出了電梯,通往房間的走廊長這樣。再來就是來看看我們接下來5天的"家"長什麼樣子......
我們的艙等是海景方窗無遮蔽的BA艙,一進房間映入眼簾的就是這樣。兩張床原本是呈90度排放,後來我們自己把床併在一起變成一張大床。
小小的房間裡有兩套衣櫃,電視、冰桶、熱水壺,分機電話一應俱全。比較特別的是在船上即使是最高級的行政套房,房間裡面都沒有冰箱。此外,看到的所有桌子跟廚櫃都是鐵製品,有別於一般飯店的木作品。
浴室小小的差不多只有半坪大,但是麻雀雖小五臟俱全唷。因為啟航日剛好是冰箱生日,告知櫃檯人員後,船方稍晚送來生日賀卡及兩杯非酒精飲料的招待券,航程期間到餐廳酒吧皆可使用。
The elevator felt a bit retro, typical for a 20-year-old ship. We stayed in cabin 7215, a BA class ocean view room with a square window. The room was compact but functional, with two beds (which we pushed together), wardrobes, TV, and kettle, but surprisingly no fridge. The bathroom was tiny, about 1.6 sqm, but had everything needed. Since it was my birthday, the staff even sent a card and drink coupons!
在郵輪的六樓甲版有一個慢跑道,這也是唯一可以整艘船從頭到尾走透透的一層樓,所有的救生艇都擺放在這一個樓層。
這地方除了色溫好,拍成黑白照也有另一種韻味啊.....
The 6th deck features a jogging track and is the only deck where you can walk from bow to stern. All the lifeboats are stored here. It's a great spot for photography, even for black and white shots.
搭船的好處就是視野除了大海之外,沒有任何遮蔽物,適合觀日。當然,在這種條件之下,也是會熱死人的呀。這次出海剛好遇到鋒面過境,所以風浪其實滿大的,雖然船很大,還是搖晃得很厲害。
在六樓船尾的地方,還有半座籃球場可以打籃球喔....在海上打籃球,想起來好像滿屌的,哈哈,可是沒人跟我打XD
The view from the ship is unobstructed, perfect for sun-gazing (though very hot!). There's even a half basketball court at the stern on the 6th deck. Playing basketball in the middle of the ocean sounds cool, right? Too bad I had no one to play with!
往船尾公海望去,除了船隻的推進波,就只有一片藍,其他啥都沒有....在航行途中,雖然旅客很多(大部分是老人團),但是會在甲板上逗留的人其實很少。在甲板上閒晃,周圍除了海浪聲之外,其實有著另一種遺世獨立的寧靜感。
在大海航行,是觀賞日出日落的絕佳地點,不過很可惜的是這次出航,天氣不是很理想。多雲的天氣,讓我看到的日出日落有點小缺憾。不知道為什麼? 感覺在大海上的晚霞沒有在陸地上看起來繽紛燦爛....
日出也因為雲層太厚,風浪不小,所以沒福氣看到太陽從海平面升起的美景。雖有些許遺憾,不過日出後的海景也是相當好看的..
第二天日出後的船已經快要接近琉球囉,船上隨拍先介紹到此,接下來就是大家最期待的船上餐廳介紹,以及接下來上陸的遊記囉。
Looking out at the open sea, it's just endless blue. Despite many passengers on board, the deck was surprisingly quiet, offering a sense of peaceful isolation. We tried to catch the sunrise and sunset, but the cloudy weather got in the way. Still, the seascape after sunrise as we approached Okinawa was beautiful.
