這家楊家生魚片位於西螺交流道下10分鐘的車程,也就是過了西螺農工
第一個路口天橋右轉就到了。會知道這家是朋友帶路,他說發現一家賣
東港生魚片的雜貨店,東西還挺新鮮的,真的引起我高度興趣。上回台
南之旅回程,剛好順路就殺過去了。不過那天也算運氣好,因為如果晚
一天到,人家就公休了~到了現場,果然門口就寫著專業生魚片,但基本
上店名扛棒沒有秀出來,網路地圖上才有。
This Yang Family Sashimi restaurant is located just a 10-minute drive from the
Xiluo Interchange, which is past the first intersection overpass after Xiluo
Agricultural and Industrial High School. If you take a right turn at that intersection overpass, you'll reach the restaurant. I got to know about this place through a
friend who discovered a grocery store selling fresh Donggang sashimi. This piqued
my interest, so on my way back from a trip to Tainan, I decided to check it out.
Luckily, I made it there just in time, as the store was closed the next day. Upon
arrival, I saw a sign at the entrance boasting about their expertise in sashimi.
However, the actual name of the store wasn't prominently displayed; it was only
available on online maps.
門口的冰櫃裡陳列著當天最新鮮的生魚磚,都是比較基本的魚種如旗魚、
鮭魚、鮪魚,沒有像我們大城市類似的店還會有一些比較名貴的魚種。
不過也是啦,畢竟在西螺這邊是鄉下,消費的目標客群有限,也不好準
被太過稀罕的魚,以免短銷。
The refrigerator at the entrance displays the freshest fish bricks of the day, featuring
basic fish species such as swordfish, salmon, and tuna. Unlike stores in larger cities
that might offer more exotic and expensive fish varieties, here in Xiluo, it's a rural
area with a limited target customer base. It's not advisable to stock too many rare
fish, as there might not be enough demand, risking potential shortages.
門口牆上就有一個價目表可供參考,賣的東西就比較基本款。聽朋友說
老闆之所以會在雜貨店賣生魚片,主要的理由是老闆娘就是東港人,所
以這個東港女婿就順理成章在自己故鄉西螺,賣著老婆娘家的特產。
沙魚煙Shark Smoked Fish(NT$100) 沙魚煙吃起來口感紮實,煙燻程度剛
On the wall by the entrance, there is a price list for reference, and the items for
sale are more of the basic variety. According to what I heard from a friend, the
main reason the owner sells sashimi in the grocery store is because the owner's
wife is from Donggang. Therefore, it naturally follows that this son-in-law from
Donggang is selling the specialty products from his wife's hometown in Xiluo.
沙魚煙Shark Smoked Fish(NT$100) 沙魚煙吃起來口感紮實,煙燻程度剛
好可以蓋住沙魚肉本身天然的阿摩尼亞味。其實沙魚本身透過皮膚排尿,
所以肉帶有阿摩尼亞味其實跟鮮度無關。至於做出來的料理好不好吃?
那就考驗廚師處理沙魚肉的功力囉。別說你沒吃過沙魚,其實市面上很
多魚丸、魚漿製品等等有很大比例都是沙魚漿做的。
The shark smoked fish has a firm texture and just the right level of smoking to
mask the natural ammonia flavor of the sand shark meat. In fact, the ammonia
flavor in the shark meat is unrelated to its freshness, as the shark eliminates ammonia through its skin. Whether the resulting dish is delicious or not depends on the chef's
skill in handling sand shark meat. Don't claim you haven't tried sand shark; in reality,
many fish balls and fish paste products on the market are made predominantly from
sand shark paste.
私房菜Special Dish(NT$150) 老闆依據手邊有的食材製作,可能每次來吃
到的菜色都不一樣。我們這回吃到的是麻辣爆炒魚肚,口感鮮香彈牙,
要不是開車來,真的不來瓶啤酒太可惜了呀~
The boss prepares dishes based on the ingredients available, so the menu may
vary each time you visit. This time, we enjoyed the spicy and fragrant stir-fried
fish intestines. The texture was delightful, and it's a shame not to pair it with a
bottle of beer – if I weren't driving, I would definitely indulge!
綜合生魚片(單份NT$100,本圖為3份) 前面說過這家的進的生魚都是比
較大眾口味的,所以鮪魚、旗魚、鮭魚都有,另外還有黃金鯡魚。這一
份是三份量一共24片,所以單份100元有8片量真的不少。重點是,他們
的生魚片正常切大小,比台中魚市場某丸X大片多了,真不知道怎會那
麼多人半夜不睡覺去排隊買,還覺得很便宜?
Sashimi Platter (Single serving NT$100, pictured here is a serving for 3)
As mentioned earlier, this place focuses on more mainstream tastes, offering a
variety including tuna, swordfish, and salmon, along with golden herring. This
serving consists of 24 pieces in total for three portions, making it quite generous
for the price of NT$100 per serving with 8 pieces each. Importantly, their sashimi
is cut to normal sizes, unlike the oversized pieces found in a certain well-known
fish market in Taichung. It's truly puzzling why so many people stay up late to
queue for it and still find it surprisingly cheap.
鮪魚、旗魚的魚肉看起來晶瑩剔透,基本上鮮度就已經無庸置疑,果然是
長年在東港的行家出手。另外看這厚切的鮭魚油花分布均勻,魚肉透亮,
當然也是上上之選。每周二公休,可能老闆要南下去東港辦貨吧?大家想
去的話,不要跑錯日子唷~

The fish meat of tuna and swordfish appears translucent and crystal clear, leaving
no doubt about its freshness. It seems that the expert has been in the fishing business
in Donggang for many years. Additionally, the evenly distributed oil patterns in this
thick-cut salmon, along with its bright and translucent flesh, make it undoubtedly a
top-notch choice. The shop is closed every Tuesday, possibly because the owner goes
south to Donggang for merchandise. If you plan to visit, make sure not to go on the
wrong day!
