寫美食這麼多年,其實多多少少自己都還有所謂口袋店中的口袋店。這一家手工水餃專賣店只賣生的冷凍水餃,沒有內用,要吃就自己煮。
不過這家餃子特別之處,就是本來不吃韭菜水餃的我,吃了他們家的韭菜之後一試成主顧。我很認真的覺得,台中市區應該沒有韭菜餃可以跟他們匹敵。有這麼誇張嗎?讓我們繼續看下去。

After writing about food for so many years, I still have some deeply hidden pocket lists. This handmade dumpling specialty shop only sells raw frozen dumplings; there is no dine-in option, you have to cook them yourself.
What makes these dumplings special is that I, someone who originally didn't eat chive dumplings, became a regular customer after trying theirs. I seriously think there are no chive dumplings in Taichung City that can rival theirs. Is it really that exaggerated? Let's keep reading.
隱身健行路的樸實老店
店址位於健行路頭寶覺寺斜對面,新民高中旁邊。店的外觀就是這麼不起眼,車開快一點就會錯過。還記得當初第一次吃到他家的水餃,是當時來幫我整修房子的工頭怕我餓死,自己買來放在我冷凍庫的。時間過得好快,這個也已經是將近 12 年前的往事。
對照 9 年前的價格,大約是從 120 元漲到 150 元,其實也還好。要帶走前,老闆會先幫餃子包上報紙,其實這是最古早的保冷方式唷。

🥟 小北平手工水餃 口味推薦
- 韭菜水餃 (150元/40粒):冰箱極力大推!保留韭菜花口感,鮮美多汁不細碎。
- 胡瓜水餃 (150元/30粒):外面少見的口味,加了胡瓜絲,清爽開胃,常被秒殺買光。
- 特殊口味:店裡還有賣四季豆跟茴香餃,有興趣可以帶幾包回家嚐鮮唷!
這天帶了韭菜跟胡瓜餃回家,每包都是 150 元,不過粒數不一樣,胡瓜水餃比較貴,150 元只有 30 粒。手工包的水餃體型渾圓,每一顆長得其實都有一點不一樣,這就是手工現包最好的證明。
以我的食量來說,煮他們家的水餃大概來個 10 粒,這一餐就差不多有七分飽了。水餃沾醬大家可以利用蒜末、蔥花去調配醬油、白醋跟麻油。如果愛吃辣的,切一點朝天椒加下去,也很過癮。
韭菜與胡瓜口味剖析
韭菜水餃:我以前很不愛吃韭菜餃,因為許多店家為了包餃子比較好包,都把內餡打得很碎,口感很差。但大家看小北平的版本,裡面的韭菜還是韭菜花。會包餃子的人應該很清楚,這樣的餡因為材料之間有空隙,所以比較不好包。但是這樣的餡料,包出來的韭菜餃不但鮮美多汁,還可以吃到韭菜本身的爽脆口感。
胡瓜水餃:說起這個胡瓜水餃,也就是瓠瓜,一般在外面要吃到很不容易。我自己到小北平買水餃,這口味也常常都被買光。這回再去買有現貨,當然二話不說趕快抱一包回家。有別於韭菜餃餡的爽脆,胡瓜餃吃的是鮮美跟多汁。比起單純只用肉餡入料,多了胡瓜絲,讓整個餃子嚐起來格外的清爽開胃。

However, dumplings wrapped with this kind of filling are not only delicious and juicy, but you can also enjoy the crisp texture of the chives themselves.
Bottle Gourd Dumplings: Speaking of bottle gourd (hu gua) dumplings, it's generally not easy to find them outside. When I go to Xiao Bei Ping, this flavor is often sold out. This time they had them in stock, so of course, I grabbed a bag without hesitation. Unlike the crispness of the chive dumplings, the bottle gourd dumplings are all about being savory and juicy. Compared to using just meat filling, the addition of shredded bottle gourd makes the whole dumpling taste exceptionally refreshing and appetizing.
