天氣開始變熱了,雖然說春天後母心,但是這樣的天氣總是比冬天適合騎車。最近決定今年 8 月再來單車環島一次,雖然已經有一次經驗,但是多練習總是好的,也該面對現實開始自主練習囉。

夜騎訓練:重返中興嶺
環島回來之後幾乎沒有出門練車,算一算也將近半年時間過得好快。這天自己夜騎,路線跟之前差不多,只是以前從沒挑戰過中興嶺圓環,這天晚上插旗囉。很久沒騎車,很多狀況在旅途中一一浮現,還有 4 個月的準備時間,應該可以一一克服吧?

I haven't been out cycling much since I came back from the island loop trip; nearly six months have flown by. Today I went for a solo night ride. The route was similar to before, but I had never challenged the Zhongxingling Circle before—tonight, I planted my flag there! Having not ridden for a long time, many physical conditions surfaced during the trip. I still have 4 months to prepare; I should be able to overcome them one by one, right?
深夜排隊名店:一心市場當歸鴨
回程時已經將近 10 點,經過一心市場,不小心看到這家之前也是騎車曾經注意過的店門外大排長龍。因為晚餐也還沒吃,考慮了一下決定先把腳踏車騎回家再換車過來。

It was nearly 10 PM on my way back. Passing by Yi Xin Market, I noticed a long queue outside this shop, which I had noted during previous rides. Since I hadn't had dinner yet, I considered it for a moment and decided to ride my bike home first, then switch vehicles and come back.
之後到的時候已經差不多快 11 點,排隊的人龍依舊,那就加入他們的行列吧!在這用餐不分外帶或內用,一律先排隊點餐。餐點從 35 元起跳,最貴約 70 元,不算貴。

When I arrived, it was almost 11 PM, and the queue was still there, so I joined them! Here, whether for take-out or dine-in, everyone must queue to order first. Prices start from 35 NTD, with the most expensive item around 70 NTD—quite affordable.
菜單與滷味:鴨翅與鴨肝
滷味也是店裡的招牌之一,主要以鴨肉產品為主。點完餐之後找位置坐下,外面依舊是大排長龍。如果在店裡點用當歸湯頭的餐點,會有一次加湯的機會喔。

Braised dishes (Luwei) are also a signature here, mainly duck products. After ordering, I found a seat, while the queue outside remained long. If you order dishes with Angelica soup for dine-in, you get one free soup refill.
這是我當天點的滷味,這一盤 75 元。豆干跟豆皮滷得還算入味,鴨肝是一般小吃攤比較不常見的菜色。滷鴨翅的尺寸不小,一隻 25 元還算平易近人,鴨胗就比較沒有很特別。

This is the braised platter I ordered, costing 75 NTD. The dried tofu and bean curd skin were well-marinated. Duck liver is a rare find at regular food stalls. The braised duck wing was quite large and reasonably priced at 25 NTD per piece. The duck gizzard was relatively ordinary.
招牌當歸鴨麵線:肉量爆棚
這天點用的主食是一碗 75 元的當歸鴨麵線,坦白說,麵線一上桌我就明白為何每天都大排長龍了。大家先看這碗麵上面的鴨肉份量實在是多到我都想跟老闆拍拍手了,吃過的當歸鴨不下數十家,肉這麼多的真的以前沒看過。

My main dish was the Angelica Duck Noodle Soup for 75 NTD. Honestly, as soon as it was served, I understood why there's a queue every day. Just look at the portion of duck meat on top—it's so generous I wanted to applaud the owner! I've eaten at dozens of duck places, but I've never seen one with this much meat.
湯頭雖是當歸藥膳風,不過喝起來還滿爽口清甜,如果不是很愛吃肉,也可以只點當歸麵線,一碗才 35 元喔。再來看這碗裡面的鴨肉,他們家的鴨肉雖然沒有看起來好像很厲害,但是實際吃了真的覺得有厲害喔。

The broth has a medicinal Angelica style but tastes refreshing and sweet. If you're not a big meat eater, you can order just the Angelica Noodle Soup for only 35 NTD. Now, let's look at the duck meat. It might not look impressive at first glance, but it's actually amazing once you taste it.
鴨肉本身肉質非常軟嫩,鴨子又不會很瘦,感覺上老闆應該有特別挑過的品質。鴨皮顏色比一般在外面吃得來得深,坦白說還沒吃之前看這鴨皮的顏色並不覺得可口,不過真的吃得之後完全就顛覆掉了說。

The duck meat itself is very tender and not too skinny; it feels like the owner specially selected high-quality ducks. The duck skin is darker than what you usually find elsewhere. Honestly, before eating it, the color didn't look very appetizing, but after tasting it, my opinion was completely overturned.
我吃東西比較慢,半小時過後門口的景象仍是如此,差不多快 12 點了也... 還挺不錯的一家小店,雖然沒有店名,但之後聽朋友說這真的是一家老店,也是附近學生的最愛之一。歪打正著又給我找到一家好店,喜歡吃當歸鴨料理的千萬不能錯過喔。

I eat slowly. Half an hour later, the scene at the door was still the same, even though it was almost midnight... It's a pretty good little shop. Although it has no name, I later heard from friends that it's a long-standing establishment and a favorite among local students. I lucked out and found another great spot. If you like Angelica Duck cuisine, you definitely shouldn't miss this!
