自從上回被帶到南屯路一段跟樂群街口,永安市場這邊的全聯隔壁15元肉燥飯吃了好吃的豬腳後,發現其實這附近也開了不少賣吃的店,選擇性也很多。所以前陣子開始,只要一想到,就會開車來這邊看看有啥好吃的。那麼繼豬腳飯後的第一彈,我們就從一顆肉圓開始吧!這邊賣肉圓一共有兩家,一家是老店圓和肉圓,另一家就是本文要介紹的彰興肉圓。

Ever since I was brought to the intersection of Nantun Road Section 1 and Lequn Street, next to the PX Mart by Yongan Market, to eat delicious pork knuckles at the 15 NTD Braised Pork Rice shop, I found that there are actually quite a few eateries opening around here with many choices. So starting a while ago, whenever I think of it, I drive over here to see what's good to eat. Well, for the first shot after the pork knuckle rice, let's start with a Ba-Wan (meatball)! There are two shops selling Ba-Wan here: one is the old shop Yuanhe Ba-Wan, and the other is Changxing Ba-Wan, which is the one introduced in this article.
隱身西區的彰興肉圓
這家彰興肉圓雖然在南屯路上,不過他可不在南屯而是在西區,不要傻傻地看到南屯路,就先往南屯跑喔。

Although this Changxing Ba-Wan is located on Nantun Road, it is not in Nantun District but in West District. Don't just blindly run towards Nantun when you see "Nantun Road".
中部代表的油泡肉圓
肉圓當然是本店的代表餐點,這種油泡加溫的彰化肉圓,是我們中部肉圓的代表。

Ba-Wan is, of course, the signature dish of this shop. This kind of Changhua-style Ba-Wan, reheated by soaking in warm oil, is the representative of our Central Taiwan Ba-Wan.
多樣化的麵點選擇
雖然是家肉圓店,不過店裡的餐點品項還真是不少。除了肉圓之外,還有供應其他很多麵點跟湯品。其中比較吸引人的,就是一碗35元的雞絲麵加蛋。當然如果不喜歡吃雞絲麵,店裡還有提供王子麵等,還有麻辣鴨血可以吃啦。
一顆肉圓加一碗雞絲麵加蛋,不到百元的晚餐,剛好滿足嘴饞的心情。

Although it's a Ba-Wan shop, there are actually quite a few items on the menu. Besides Ba-Wan, they also serve many other noodle dishes and soups. Among them, the more attractive one is a bowl of chicken wire noodles with egg for 35 NTD. Of course, if you don't like chicken wire noodles, the shop also offers Prince noodles, etc., and spicy duck blood to eat.
A Ba-Wan plus a bowl of chicken wire noodles with egg makes a dinner for less than a hundred bucks, perfectly satisfying my cravings.
Q彈有勁的五香肉圓與雞絲麵
肉圓(35元) 點餐的時候如果要辣跟不要香菜,記得要先跟老闆娘說喔。
肉圓皮是我們台中一貫的樣式,因為在在來米漿裡面又加重了葛粉的比例,所以吃起來的口感,會比其他地方的肉圓來得Q彈。
肉圓的內餡是五香胛心肉塊,基本組成還有一些筍丁,表現起來的風味還算是中規中矩。

Ba-Wan (35 NTD). When ordering, if you want it spicy or without cilantro, remember to tell the lady boss first.
The Ba-Wan skin is in our consistent Taichung style. Because the proportion of arrowroot powder is increased in the rice milk, the texture is much chewier than Ba-Wan from other places.
The filling of the Ba-Wan is five-spice pork shoulder chunks. The basic composition also includes some diced bamboo shoots. The overall flavor presentation is quite standard and proper.
雞絲麵加蛋(35元) 本來以為加蛋只是加顆水煮荷包蛋進去,等到一上桌才發現是打成蛋花的方式,感覺還挺特別的。
麵量應該是標準的一球麵,感覺配一顆肉圓吃是剛剛好七分飽。
湯頭的話我個人覺得味道稍微淡了一點,點餐的時候建議大家可以跟老闆娘說,調味稍微重一點,應該會更好吃。

Chicken wire noodles with egg (35 NTD). I originally thought adding an egg just meant throwing in a boiled poached egg, but when it was served, I found it was made in an egg drop style, which felt quite special.
The noodle portion should be a standard single ball of noodles. Paired with a Ba-Wan, it feels just about 70% full.
As for the broth, I personally feel the taste is a bit on the light side. I suggest everyone can tell the lady boss when ordering to make the seasoning a bit heavier, which should taste better.
