[台中甜點][中區400]【台中第二市場】 坂神本舖長崎蛋糕Sakagami Honpo Nagasaki Cake.全國只有這家好好吃(台中美食 台中旅遊 在地人也愛吃 BRT仁愛醫院站/第二市場站美食)

大家都知道冰箱沒有什麼吃甜點的習慣,不過話雖如此,世界上還是有
甜點會讓冰箱有機會一定會主動去買來吃的。例如這家在台中舊市區第
二市場對面的蛋糕老店,就是相當具代表性的一家。

Everyone knows that I don't have a habit of eating desserts, but there are still desserts
in the world that I would definitely take the initiative to buy and eat. For example, this 
old cake shop located across from the Second Market in the old district of Taichung is 
a highly representative one.

有人說一家店如果生意好,只要專心賣一種商品就忙不過來,這個說法
一點都沒有錯!如果大家想看實例,那我們台中第二市場對面這一家叫做
坂神長崎蛋糕的店,應該是這個說法最有說服力案例之一。

The statement is not entirely wrong! If you want to see an example, one of the most 
convincing cases is a shop called "Banka Nagasaki Cakes" located across from the 
Second Market in Taichung.

這家店確切開了多久其冰箱也不清楚,不過我個人應該從像小冰箱現在
這麼大的時候就開始吃了。店齡隨便算也有35年到40年以上的歷史,這
家店也見證了台中中區,從興盛到沒落的整個過程。因為店家不願意讓
客人在店裡拍照,所以店裡面冰箱就不多作介紹了。反正,也沒啥好介
紹,就是一個小小蛋糕店面,烘焙區是完全看不到的。

This shop has been open for at least 35 to 40 years, witnessing the entire process of 
prosperity and decline in the central district of Taichung. The exact duration of the
shop's I don't know, but personally, I started eating from my childhood. Since the shop 
doesn't allow customers to take photos inside, I won't go into much detail about the 
shop. Anyway, there's not much to describe. It's just a small cake shop, and the baking 
area is completely hidden from view.

從以前一直到冰箱還有去消費的時候,這家店一直是全國只此一家 
From the past until now, this store has been the only one of its kind in the whole country.

因為很重要,所以要講三次!!

Because it is important, I will say it three times!

結果剛剛查資料卻有人說已經在綏遠路開分店,所以這說法成絕響。不
過在網路爬過相關資料之後,冰箱個人覺得這應該又是一個兄弟分家的
羅生門。聽說所謂的"分店"是二老闆出去另起爐灶開的,但從很多部分
都可以感覺到這並不是分店,畢竟產品線除了長崎蛋糕外,所謂的分店
又多了很多其他產品。

Just now, I looked up the information, but someone said that a branch has already opened 
on Suiyuan Road, so this statement has caused a big commotion. However, after searching
through relevant information online, I personally believe that this is another case of a family 
splitting up, like the Rashomon effect. I heard that the so-called "branch" was started by two 
other bosses, but from many aspects, it doesn't seem like a branch at all. After all, apart from 
Nagasaki cakes, this so-called branch has introduced many other products.

再者,如果是分店,怎麼會分屬兩家不同的公司,包裝也不同咧?

Furthermore, if it's a branch, how can it belong to two different companies with different
packaging?

最重要的是在"分店"的臉書上的沿革,特別強調上面這張圖的告示已經
成絕響,但為何舊店還是沒把告示撤下呢?

The most important thing is the history on the "branch's" Facebook page, particularly emphasizing the notice in the attached picture that has become very popular. However, 
why hasn't the notice been taken down from the old store?

不過分不分店其實好像跟我們也沒啥關係,如果口味真的沒有差,那哪
邊方便哪邊買也不錯。

However, whether or not to have separate branches doesn't seem to have much to do with 
us. If the taste is really the same, it's fine to buy from whichever place is more convenient.

其實冰箱這天會買,完全是因為在對面吃完魯肉邱剛好9點多,坂神蛋糕剛
開始營業沒有什麼人。在這個情形之下不買真的會很難過,所以就過去帶了
條220元的長崎蛋糕回家。

Actually, the reason I bought the refrigerator that day was because I happened to finish
eating Lu Rou Chiu on the opposite side, just after 9 o'clock. Bonjour Patisserie had just
opened for business and there weren't many people there. In that situation, I would have
felt really sad if I didn't buy anything, so I decided to bring home a 220 NTD Nagasaki cake.

從以前到現在店家就是用這種金光閃閃的蛋糕紙盒出貨,後來有一陣子
流行的時候,其他也賣長崎蛋糕的店家幾乎都跟著用這樣的包裝。如果
買來是要當伴手禮,店家還會免費幫客人綁緞帶跟提供緞帶花喔。

From the past until now, shops have been using these shiny cake boxes for packaging. 
Later, when it became popular, almost all other shops selling Castella cakes also started 
using this kind of packaging. If you buy it as a souvenir, the shop will even provide free 
ribbon tying and ribbon flowers for customers.

蛋糕的成分很簡單,就是麵粉、蛋、糖跟麥芽。保存期限是3天,可以冷
藏也可以室溫保存,不過倘若家裡比較潮濕的話,還是建議大家放在冰
箱裡面以免發霉。

The ingredients of a cake are quite simple, which include flour, eggs, sugar, and maltose.
Its shelf life is 3 days, and it can be stored either in the refrigerator or at room temperature. However, if the humidity in the house is high, it is still recommended to keep it in the
refrigerator to prevent mold.

打開上蓋,發現蛋糕上面還有附覆上一層像棉紙的東西,這是拿來讓蛋
糕調節濕度用的。我們到店購買蛋糕,拿到手的每一份蛋糕絕對都是剛
剛出爐最新鮮的。雖然店家有先把蛋糕放到店門口的玻璃櫥裡頭降溫,
不過蛋糕出貨時還會有點餘溫存在。為避免蛋糕裡面跑出來帶水分的熱
氣,在蓋上蛋糕盒蓋之後水分凝結滴回蛋糕上影響風味,所以才會放這
樣一張紙在上頭。

Upon opening the lid, I discovered a layer of paper-like material covering the cake. 
This is used to regulate the humidity of the cake. When purchasing a cake from the store, 
each slice is guaranteed to be freshly baked, straight out of the oven. Although the bakery 
cools the cakes in a glass display case at the store entrance, there is still some residual 
warmth when the cakes are shipped. To prevent the cake from releasing moisture and 
forming condensation that could affect its flavor, the paper is placed on top of the cake 
box after it is covered.

其實除了上述功用,這張紙還有一個完全相反的作用就是保濕,這點大
家如果有把蛋糕放在冷藏保存就會知道冰箱在說什麼了。

In fact, in addition to the functions mentioned above, this piece of paper also has a 
completely opposite effect, which is to retain moisture. Those who have stored a cake 
in the refrigerator would understand what the paper is referring to.

這次帶回家的是220元的版本,一大塊蛋糕店家會幫忙分切成16小塊。
有趣的是依照蛋糕紙盒大小,分切法都不太一樣喔。

This time, I brought home a cake that costs $220. The cake shop will help cut it into 16
 small pieces. Interestingly, the way it is cut depends on the size of the cake box.

蛋糕最表面這一層皮顏色呈咖啡色,聞起來有一股甜甜的香味很香。

The top layer of the cake is brown in color and has a sweet, fragrant aroma.

如果你認為坂神長崎蛋糕跟一般的海綿蛋糕沒兩樣,那可真的是差多囉。
他們家的蛋糕基本上結構相當紮實,因為採用新鮮雞蛋為主要原料,所
以光文就會聞到一股相當舒服的蛋香。

If you think that the Sakashima Nagasaki cake is no different from a regular sponge cake, 
you couldn't be more wrong. Their cakes have a significantly different texture. They are 
made using fresh eggs as the main ingredient, resulting in a dense and solid structure. 
Just by smelling it, you can sense a delightful aroma of eggs.

聞起來甜甜的,其實真正吃了之後發現並不會很甜膩,甜度是會刷嘴的
那種剛剛好的程度。口感上吃起來比一般海綿蛋糕硬一些,有點像發糕
卻又沒有發糕那麼乾,有點溫度來吃口感很不錯。

It sounds sweet, but actually, after you eat it, you'll find that it's not too sweet or heavy. 
The sweetness is just right, not overwhelming. The texture is slightly firmer than a regular
sponge cake, somewhat similar to a steamed cake, but not as dry. It's quite enjoyable to eat
it warm.

這條蛋糕要買真的不容易,雖然店裡有電話號碼寫在蛋糕盒上,但是這
支電話聽說永遠都沒人接,更別說電話預約了。因為每天來客數都很多,
之前也發生過客人不耐久候,說店家故意把動作放慢製造排隊假象的事
件。其實別說觀光客了,我們老台中人要買也是要排隊啊,真的要來消
費之前,想吃到限量美味蛋糕除了帶錢還要記得帶耐心啊!

Buying this cake is really not easy. Although there is a phone number written on the cake 
box, they say that no one ever answers that phone. Not to mention making a phone 
reservation. The number of customers coming in every day is so high that there have been incidents where customers couldn't bear the wait and accused the shop of intentionally 
slowing down to create the illusion of a queue. Even as local residents of Taichung, we have 
to queue if we want to buy it. So, if you really want to enjoy the limited delicious cake, 
besides bringing money, you also have to remember to bring patience!
