台南牛肉湯很有名,但指的是溫體牛肉片直接沖高湯那種。印象中之前在台南生活的時候,也沒有發現幾家牛肉麵專賣店比較特別。說真的牛肉麵還是以中、北部發展得比較好,尤其是北部更是名店無數。不過最近發現了一家發源自台南佳里的紅燒牛肉麵店,沒去台南竟在台中吃到,有趣吧!
"Tainan Beef Soup" is renowned for fresh beef slices cooked in broth. However, during my time in Tainan, I didn't find many notable beef noodle shops. It seems beef noodle soup thrives more in central and northern Taiwan. Interestingly, I recently found a braised beef noodle shop originating from Jiali, Tainan, right here in Taichung!

一人餐桌這邊買唷
這家店位於市區光復路跟自由路口轉角,基本上這邊是我進市區回家必經之路。店名叫做老夫子牛肉麵,剛開始一度我還以為是北區那家老夫子牛肉麵的分店。其實台南南區大同路二段靠近台糖那邊也有一家老夫子,不過那家也賣熱炒而且招牌寫總店,所以確定不一樣。
用餐座位有室內冷氣開放,外面走廊也有座位,但夏天這麼熱,還是坐裡面比較舒服。室內的桌椅對照一下,和台南總店使用的樣式一樣。
Located at the corner of Guangfu and Ziyou Road, this shop caught my eye. It's called "Lao Fu Zi Beef Noodle," distinct from other shops with similar names. It offers air-conditioned indoor seating, which is much more comfortable than the outdoor corridor seats in summer. The furniture matches their main branch in Tainan.
台中這家店除了賣熱食之外,還有賣飲料及冰品。不過看著點菜單上一大堆叉叉標記,也說明許多品項已經或暫時不供應了。看他們的菜單還是沿用黎明店的。
第一次來吃就直接攻頂,牛三寶麵來一碗,小菜一碟來認識! 鴨掌 ($40) 切得很大塊,吃起來口感不錯,調味略顯單薄,但分量不錯。
The menu had many crossed-out items, indicating limited availability. I went for the full experience with Beef Three Treasures Noodles and a side dish. The Boneless Duck Feet ($40) were cut into generous chunks with good texture, though the seasoning was a bit light.
牛三寶麵 ($180) 分量還不少,$180價位這麼大碗也算行情偏低。
麵還挺大碗的,牛肉的樣子看起來不像現煮,反而跟我店裡每天拿來煮國軍牛肉麵的罐頭牛肉形狀很像。
牛肚滷得顏色黑黑的,吃起來口感偏軟爛,少了該有的爽脆度,不過口味上還可以; 牛筋很大塊,口感也是偏軟,應該是調理包覆熱無誤。
紅燒湯頭喝起來帶有一點中藥的味道,看來這口湯看起來有著較深的顏色應該是香料熬成的,醬油比例應該是不高,因為不會死鹹。
麵條應該是工廠出來的冷凍熟麵,選擇的拉麵還算有咬勁。基本上這碗麵不算難吃,但也沒有好吃到想再來一次就想法,反正就路過試試,紀錄一下大家參考~
The Beef Three Treasures Noodles ($180) was a large portion for the price. However, the beef looked like canned meat. The tripe was soft and dark, lacking crispness, and the tendon was also soft—likely reheated from a pack. The broth had a medicinal herbal taste, savory but not too salty. The noodles were likely frozen pre-cooked ones but still had a decent bite. Overall, not bad, but not memorable enough for a revisit.
